Moving into the headliner slot at this year’s massive Ultra Music Festival throwdown, the momentum DJ superstar Martin Garrix has gained in his upward trajectory is undeniable. Among the most prolific names in electronic dance music, Martin is a lightning bolt of success and fandom, having headlined most major dance festivals around the world before he was old enough to vote. We’ve been tracking Martin’s ascent to success from the get-go, celebrating last year’s collaboration with Martin and EDM legend Tiesto during Miami Music Week.
This time around, Crave caught up with Garrix at the Miami Music Lounge, partnering with iHeartMedia to celebrate the massive event’s 10th anniversary. In our candid discussion (watch below), the superstar spinner shares his love for Miami and the “big family reunion” of Ultra, as well as a few details on his all-new stage production. If you’re on hand at Ultra this weekend, Garrix has quite a few surprises in store during his set, including new material – he promises to premiere “eight or nine” previously unheard singles during his performance.
