Organizers at TIFF continue to announce new additions to this year’s installment of the festival, and The Turning Point, with Leonardo DiCaprio, has been added to the bill.
Others include the Blair Witch sequel as well as Free Fire. In all, TIFF announced the titles for TIFF Docs, Vanguard, Midnight Madness, Cinematheque, and International Short Cuts, which focuses on real-life characters, zombies and demons, dark and sophisticated cinema, and a slate of classics.
In the documentary The Turning Point, Leonardo DiCaprio chronicles his campaign to raise global awareness about the dangers of climate change in his role as a UN Ambassador of Peace. It is executive produced by Martin Scorsese and produced by Fisher Stevens (as well as DiCaprio).
The Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 8-18. For details of previous announcements, check out our Galas and Special Presentations and Canadian films, and to browse all the Festival films that are out so far, check out the film list.
