Exclusive Preview | ‘Underground’ Season 2 Episode 4

WGN America’s Underground is nearing the midpoint of its second season, and things still look dire for Noah and Rosalee. While Rosalee has embraced her inner strength on her journey to freedom, she’s still facing many dangers ahead. As for Noah, his danger is right in front of him. Much to Noah’s dismay, he’s been reunited with Cato, and it’s not going to be a very happy reunion!

This season, Bokeem Woodbine has joined the cast of Underground as Daniel, a man who has educated himself while still suffering under the institution of slavery. In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from this week’s Underground, Daniel reveals a surprising reason why he believes that his knowledge may be more of a curse than a blessing. And he isn’t sure if he wants to pass that burden on to another…

WGN America has released the following description for this week’s episode of Underground:

“Nok Aaut,” written by Nadria Tucker and Tiffany Greshler, and directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield (“Queen Sugar,” “Shadowhunters”), features Cato and his recently acquired affluence, as he boasts to his captive Noah (Aldis Hodge) of his time in Europe. Following Rosalee’s (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) harrowing struggle for survival, she is cared for by Elizabeth (Jessica de Gouw) when her shocking secret is revealed. Meanwhile, things go awry when Georgia (Jasika Nicole) and Elizabeth oppose slavery at a rally.

The next episode of Underground season 2 will be broadcast Wednesday, March 29 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on WGN America.
