Rhys Darby AKA Murray From ‘Flight Of The Conchords’ Is Doing An Aussie Comedy Tour

Alright, roll call.

That’s right. Rhys Darby, beloved as Deputy Cultural Attache Murray Hewitt in the timelessly hilarious Kiwi TV series Flight Of The Conchords is holding a band meeting and Australia is invited.

The ginger LOL-prince and star of such films as The Boat That Rocked and Yes Man is bringing his stand-up comedy tour Down Under for what we’re sure will be plenty of cultural zingers at our country’s expense.

He’ll be dishing up the giggles this August when he hits our shores for the Just For Laughs Sydney comedy festival, plus his own national headlining tour hitting venues in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

But this is far from just a regular stand-up tour, Darby’s brand new Jim Carrey-endorsed show ‘Mystic Time Bird’ has been described as “a mix of astute observations and stand-up cocooned in a fantastical story that takes his audience on a journey through the ridiculous to the downright silly”, and follows Darby on an adventure into the world of ancient mysticism.

Catch all the details below.
