The final season of Turn: Washington’s Spies is near its midpoint but the American Revolution is far from over. For years, Abraham Woodhull has led the Culper Ring to spy for George Washington against the British. Now, the price for his actions has come due. Abe’s father, Richard, is dead. And understandably, Abe wants revenge. Unfortunately, Washington didn’t seem inclined to provide any.
As tensions boiled over in Washington’s camp, Abe was threatened with conscription into the army if he didn’t obey the command to resume spying on the British. That was just a taste of the drama as a mutiny broke out in camp. Washington’s forces prevailed and a compromise was reached for Abe’s fate. He would journey to New York and spy on General Benedict’s army as a member of his regimen. This is all in the serves of securing Abe’s revenge against Simcoe, which is easier said than done.
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for this week’s episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies, Abe is in play as a hidden member. However, his presence could be discovered at a moment.
