I’ve only been fishing once when I was young, and that was enough to remind me that it’s the most boring thing you can do after watching C-Span network. But hell, if something like what happened to the fishermen in this story occurred when I was fishing I may have just given fishing another try. Or I may have been completely traumatized. Probably the latter.
According to Bradenton Herald, the fishing crew was in a positive mood during their fishing trip as they had just caught an Amberjack and a Blackfin Tuna which the Real Coquina Key Fishing crew planned to bleed out and eat as sashimi. Well, because of all the blood from the tuna in the water a massive mako shark showed up.

The crazy thing about this encounter was that it occurred off the coast of Clearwater Beach, which isn’t the first place you’d expect to find a huge shark.

That’s amazing footage and quite the story. And yet, after seeing Sharknado I expect more from these shark encounters.
