Don’t Get A $225K Bentley If You’re Going To Completely Destroy It

As proud as a person might be to get a super pricey car, it’s probably best that you can handle your investment. And by that I mean it’s probably best you can drive it without crashing into a brick wall and then collide with another innocent driver. The reason I say that is because that’s exactly what happened in an incident that occurred in Amersham, UK.

A 46-year-old man named Richard Plumb was speeding behind the wheel of his Bentley Continental GT when it’s clear he couldn’t control his car going at 85mph. Plumb hits a brick wall and then smashes into 74-year-old’s Tim Edwards’ car.

Check out the insane footage below:

It’s gets more crazy. Not only did both men survive the crash, but Plumb decided to flee on foot, and was only caught because he left his blood on the airbag of his car. Plumb eventually pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and failing to stop after a road accident and was given seven months behind bars and banned from driving for four years.

Here’s what Edwards had to say about the ordeal:

“There was no time to be frightened or anything like that, it was over in a flash. I emerged from my vehicle without so much as a scratch so I was incredibly fortunate…I was in a pretty sturdy car which took the impact well otherwise it could’ve been a lot worse.

In fact the other driver was more seriously injured, he’d left blood all over his airbag. He climbed out of the driver’s side window, called a friend who arrived a few minutes later in another car and they drove off.”

Most people in these expensive cars can’t handle them, so my best advice to you is to take a bus or take a NYC subway, which in a way is riskier than anything you can ever be on.
