You can always count on Miley Cyrus to keep things interesting. On a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the provocative pop star performed a cover of Yvonne Fair’s “It Should Have Been Me.” But halfway through the song, the spicy celeb sauntered over to Fallon’s desk and began to serenade his guest, Hollywood’s unexpected playboy Pete Davidson – who is currently dating Kim Kardashian.
Cyrus came in like, well, a wrecking ball, draping a leg over Davidson, stealing his cap, and seemingly insinuating that “it should have been me” who…well, we don’t even want to think about it, honestly.
The comedian was a good sport during the flirtatious number. It’s hard to tell if Davidson was embarrassed or not, given that he just looks mildly awkward all the time.
We don’t fault Cyrus for the “it should have been me” pity party. Given Davidson’s dating history, why shouldn’t it have been her? Davidson has seemingly smashed with every other eligible female celeb lately. White trash pop stars seem right up his alley (or rather, an alley we could easily see him – oh, never mind).
But maybe, just maybe, this was all a well-planned publicity stunt. After all, Cyrus and Davidson are set to co-host a New Year’s Eve special on NBC (unfairly) titled Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, which Cyrus has already been plugging, hard.

Regardless of Cyrus’ intentions, we don’t really want to know who Davidson is or is not hooking up with. We suppose it should give us hope that dudes who look like him can get so much beautiful p*ssy, but we really don’t understand his appeal.
Go on with your bad self, Pete. Just keep it off our news feeds.
