Celebrities couples are annoying. Not only are they rich, beautiful, and usually way too horny for each other (in very public forums), they also come with customized nicknames. Think Bennifer or Brangelina. Well, now Kanye West and his new, equally egomaniac boo, Julia Fox, have a nickname, too. There’s just one problem: Fox herself coined the moniker.
The nickname is “Juliye,” and the 31-year-old Uncut Gems star debuted it on an Instagram story last week alongside a pic of her and 44-year-old Ye at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2022 show in Paris.
It wasn’t the first time the couple made headlines at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, either. They were the talk of the town (or at least, the internet) for twinning in denim outfits.
While we don’t ship this odd couple, Fox insists their pairing is the most natural thing in the world. On her “Forbidden Fruits” podcast (dear God, save us), she said, “I feel like, to the people who know us both personally, like all the people that we have in common, like friends in common, have texted me like, ‘Oh my God, this makes so much sense.'”
Like, really? If you say so, girlfriend. All we can figure is you two are so self-absorbed you don’t realize how obnoxious your better half is and can therefore tolerate each other. We just wish we didn’t have to watch the inevitable train wreck.
