If you’re following any of the Kardashian-Jenner clan because you think they’re role models, well, joke’s on you. But apparently, the public believes that the family of reality TV stars-turned-entrepreneurs is supposed to set an example for the rest of us, and when they don’t, people get really pissy.
The latest uproar came after Kendall Jenner posted a series of Instagram pics captioned “things i love.” Among shots of a dog in sunglasses, luxury cars, and a horse was a selfie of the 26-year-old model drinking tequila out of a straw.

Now, why this came as a shock to anyone, we don’t know. Jenner is the owner of 818 Tequila, and she has not been shy about promoting her own product on social media.

But apparently this is the straw that broke the camel’s back, because people came out with their pitchforks aimed at the controversial celeb.
“It may be an unpopular opinion but I think this type of promo is actually quite irresponsible,” one dissenter wrote on a Reddit forum.
“I came here to say this too, this is a really dangerous picture, honestly. There’s a reason ‘Drink Responsibly’ exists,” another agreed.
“She’s drinking liquor directly from the bottle with a straw. It’s not a responsible way to drink. It promotes binge drinking,” a third opined.
And on and on the critiques went.
We don’t see why people are taking issue with drinking alcohol through a straw. Seems rather lady-like to us. Most dudes would just tip the damn bottle upside down and chug. File this whole pseudo-scandal under the category, “And the problem is…?”
