Adam Levine Accused of Having Affair With Instagram Model, Asking to Name His Next Baby After Her (And You Thought Maroon 5 Songs Were Cringey)

If you love to hate Adam Levine, have we got a story for you. The Maroon 5 singer is under scrutiny after an Instagram model alleged via TikTok that the 43-year-old “manipulated” her into having an affair…and later asked if he could name his next baby after her.

Let’s back up. A few days ago, Levin’s wife, model Behati Prinsloo, announced to the world via Instagram that she and Levine are expecting their third child.

According to Instagram model Sumner Stroh, however, the celebrity couple’s marriage hasn’t been so picture-perfect. Stroh claims she had an affair with the aging rocker for a year, and that after a period of not communicating, Levine slid into her DMs earlier this summer asking to name the forthcoming infant after her.

This all came out in a now viral TikTok, in which the model felt the need to break down her “affair with a man who’s married to Victoria’s Secret model.” Apparently, some friends she stupidly trusted to keep screenshots of her communication with Levine secret went to the tabloids. (Doesn’t everyone here involved know there are no secrets in the digital age?)

“embarrassed I was involved w a man with this utter lack of remorse and respect,” she captioned the TikTok. (Are you though? Because if you were, you’d probably keep this shitshow to yourself.)

“I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated,” she said.

As if calling Levine a predator wasn’t incendiary enough, she insulted his band, too.

“Maroon 5 is practically elevator music at this point,” Stroh said. (Hey, we don’t disagree, but harsh!)

Stroh goes on to say that they had an affair for a year, then she cut things off, and after a few months, Levine sent her an Instagram DM that read: “Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s w [sic] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious.” He also added a shrugging emoji.

It’s just cringey enough that it could be true. We can’t wait to hear the insufferable Maroon 5 song this story will surely become someday.
