Adam Levine will never live this down. And as far as we’re concerned, that’s all the better for us, because it’s provided so much hilarious Mandatory fodder.
For those late to the party, the Maroon 5 frontman came under scrutiny on Monday after a 23-year-old Instagram model named Sumner Stroh alleged via TikTok that the 43-year-old musician “manipulated” her into having an affair…and asked if he could name his next baby after her. That bombshell dropped only a few days after Levine’s wife Behati Prinsloo announced that she’s expecting her third child with the aging rocker via an Instagram pic of her bump.
The internet ran wild with the affair accusations. Within a day, Levine posted a mea culpa (in which he admitted to flirting but not to an affair) in an Instagram Story (keep it classy, dude). But if you thought the story would end there…oh, hell, no.
That’s because more women have come forward claiming Levine slid into their DMs, too – and have even shared screenshots of the alleged sexts. We now have the “She Will Be Loved” singer to thank for making phrases like “I may need to see the booty” and “Holy fuck Holy fucking fuck That body of yours is absurd.”

Are these sexts legit? We don’t know. They’re cringey enough that they could totally have come from the same man who wrote lyrics like, “I’m at a payphone / Trying to call home / All of my change / I spent on you.”
One thing’s for sure: this man will never slide into anyone’s DMs ever again…we hope.
