Justin Baldoni Shares #SurvivorLoveLetter Amid Reported Blake Lively Drama

While the film adaptation of “It Ends With Us” was released last month, the ongoing drama between Blake Lively and co-star/director Justin Baldoni is still stealing the spotlight. The alleged feud has seemingly overshadowed the new project, which sheds light on the sensitive subject of domestic violence. However, Baldoni has continued to raise awareness about the film’s core subject matter at several press events related to the film. The actor and filmmaker has now penned a powerful tribute to domestic violence survivors through #SurvivorLoveLetter.

Justin Baldoni posts heartfelt message for DV survivors amid ‘It Ends With Us’ controversy

Justin Baldoni took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt message to domestic violence survivors. “You embody resilience and courage,” he wrote, praising survivors’ “endurance, strength, and hope.” Calling them “an inspiration,” Baldoni also highlighted their “unyielding spirit.” The director then wrote that their journey “encourages and motivates” those “still searching for the light.”

Furthermore, the “Jane the Virgin” star shared that he can “never fully understand” a survivor’s “pain” and all that they have been through, but he wants them “to know that you are never alone in this fight.” He continued to send out his support in the heartfelt letter and wished survivors “moments of profound peace.” Before ending, Baldoni wrote, “You are liberating us all.”

Amid his and Blake Lively’s recently rumored drama, Justin Baldoni’s letter garnered a positive response as several survivors took to the comments to share their gratitude. One wrote, “Having a male voice speak up and empathize and support our voices, our journey, is needed and appreciated.” They continued, “We need male support in the fight for changing perspective and behavior.” Another wrote, “You sincerely care about the victims and it shows.” Several others thanked Baldoni for speaking up and for spreading awareness.

“It Ends with Us” is adapted from the first Colleen Hoover novel of the same name. However, the future of the franchise is currently unclear amid Baldoni and Lively’s alleged feud.
