Australian indie pop band Architecture in Helsinki returns with their first material in two years, a single entitled ‘In The Future’.
‘In The Future’ will lead the band’s upcoming fourth album, their first release since 2011’s Moment Bends. Set to appear at next month’s Splendour in the Grass, the new single is joined by news Architecture in Helsinki will perform two exclusive warm up gigs ahead of their appearance at Australia’s largest winter festival- at the Karova Lounge in Ballarat on July 19 and The Toff in Town in Melbourne on the 24th.
The Melbourne-based five-piece has teamed up with producer Francois Tetaz, who worked on Gotye’s Making Mirrors, to again call on the 80’s styled pop that inhabited Moment Bends.
Tetaz told FasterLouder last year ahead of the current release that the band “wanted to make quite a coherent record… A ‘new sound’ record. So to do that means a different approach to how they’d make their earlier records.”
