Stone Temple Pilots are giving Australian fans in Melbourne and Sydney an opportunity to catch the band outside of the Soundwave festival at two intimate February shows.
Heading to Australia as part of the Soundwave lineup, Stone Temple Pilots are making their first visit Down Under with new frontman Chester Bennington, who replaced the dismissed Scott Weiland last year.
The rock veterans will perform two gigs outside of their Soundwave commitments- Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday, February 25 and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Wednesday, February 26.
Having sold some 40 million records over a near 30-year career, Stone Temple Pilots returned with the High Rise EP last year after having released just one album (Between The Lines) since 2001.
