Lauryn Hill is one of several high-calibre musicians who have been added to the line-up for the Saskatchewan Jazz Fest.
Downchild Blues Band will close the festival on June 29th.
Jill Barber, Royal Wood, Brandi Disterheft Quartet, Delhi 2 Dublin and Royal Canoe are all on the bill as well.
Hill, who is known for her years with the hit band The Fugees, won five Grammys in the late 1990s with her solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. After serving three months in jail for tax evasion last year, Hill is back on track and released the song “Consumerism” following her conviction.
The Sask Jazz Fest runs from June 20-29th.
