Battlefield Hardline is a huge change for the series. Instead of being centered on worldwide combat, it’s about crime and bank heists. Money, and explosives. Bank vaults, and getaway cars. Excited? You should be.
After talking about the game and how it’s splitting off the Battlefield franchise with a really interesting new theme, EA shocked the audience by announcing that the beta is going live today. They showed people playing on the rooftop of the building before revealing dozens of PCs ready for the audience to sit down and play from.
Sony’s Adam Boyes took the stage to show gamers how to download the beta on their PS4. All you need is a copy of Battlefield 4, and you can play RIGHT NOW. Find out for yourself if this is the real deal, and offer some feedback while you’re at it.
