A new PS4 bundle is on its way, featuring the remastered version of the most popular exclusive PS3 game of 2013, The Last of Us.
Yes, The Last of Us: Remastered will be getting its very own PS4 bundle, as prematurely revealed by Amazon France. At a time when remastered games and remakes are being used to fill in the gaps of a particularly empty release calendar, Sony is putting its might behind Naughty Dog’s apocalyptic opus in order to introduce it to those who may have missed it the first time around. It should now only be a matter of time before Microsoft announces a Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox One bundle.
While I’m still not overly enthusiastic about a few of this year’s biggest games being remakes, I’ll still pick up The Last of Us: Remastered if only to sink more time into its underrated online component, which will be aided by the PS4’s much-improved online functionality. Though I’m still not sure whether surviving the apocalypse twice in the space of a year is good for my mental well-being.
