Hand of Fate has officially launched its Eartly Start on Steam as part of an Early Access program, just eight months after its successful Kickstarter campaign where it earned 1,395 backers. An official launch is targeted for later this year.
Additionally, Defiant Development has announced that Hand of Fate will arrive on PS4 in Q4 2014, and PS Vita in Q1 2015. Nothing beats sitting on a couch, taking out ferocious bosses using your brainpower, and earning some cards while you’re at it.
Hand of Fate is a collectible card game with RPG and rogue-like elements. Much of the strategy comes from choosing which cards to use, but at times you’ll combat foes in a third-person action setting. Since its single-player campaign is procedurally generated, subsequent playthroughs are encouraged.
