Arctic Monkeys have released a short documentary to mark the end of their world tour, which they embarked upon in order to promote their latest album AM.
The 6:37 video shows the band during the South American leg of their tour, including behind-the-scenes footage of their live performances throughout the course of their visit to the region.
The band’s frontman Alex Turner has previously stated that they may take a break from music following the conclusion of the world tour, and have not committed to any plans to create a follow-up to the critically-acclaimed AM LP.
They were also recently forced to speak out against the fraudulent promotion of a gig they were said to be performing following the world tour’s end, with a statement from the band reading: “Following our show in Rio, there are no further live shows planned. Please disregard fraudulent promotions.”
Along with the footage of their live performances, the documentaries also shows the band relaxing on a beach and indulging in a spot of tennis. That rock ‘n’ roll, eh?
