Los Angeles rock quartet Dead Sara has taken their time crafting their highly anticipated sophomore album “Pleasure To Meet You,” but now the greatness has been unleashed on the world with its release this week via their own imprint, Pocket Kid Records. “Pleasure To Meet You” is available now on iTunes.
Enigmatic vocalist Emily Armstrong can wail and roar with the best of ‘em (we caught ample evidence when she covered Tom Petty’s “Refugee” at Petty Fest), but as evidenced in a special outdoor riverside acoustic performance in Austin, she also weaves a delicate wonder.
The gentle tones of the gorgeously harmonic “Something Good” arrived by necessity, as Emily was on vocal rest after a particularly intense run of performances. But rallying to her melodic side were lead guitarist Siouxsie Medley, bassist Chris Null and Sean Friday on drums.
Together, Dead Sara delivered a soulful, gorgeous sound in the maniacal chaos of SXSW last month – and we’re proud to bring you an exclusive performance of “Something Good,” only on CraveOnline:
