It’s a good thing a picture’s worth a thousand words, because Albert Hammond Jr. looks like he’s lost for them. The Strokes‘ guitarist has been caught on camera, watching his singer, Julian Casablancas, team up with prog act The Voidz to cover Vision Of Division, wearing an expression that states matter-of-factly, “I just threw up a little bit in my mouth”.
It appears the axeman was caught unawares by The Voidz’ abstract take on the track during Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Music Festival, which The Strokes also headlined. His hilarious expression of bulgey-eyed shock and disgust says it all.
