Bethesda have announced Fallout Anthology, a collection of all previous games in the mainline Fallout series packed away in a collectible mini-nuke, with it releasing exclusively on PC.
The Anthology, which will make be available on September 29th in the US and on October 2nd in Europe, contains the following games and DLC:
– Fallout
– Fallout 2
– Fallout Tactics
– Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition
- The Pitt
- Operation: Anchorage
- Broken Steel
- Point Lookout
- Mothership Zeta
– Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition
- Dead Money
- Honest Hearts
- Old World Blues
- Lonesome Road
- Gun Runners’ Arsenal
- Courier’s Stash
It will also come packaged in the aforementioned mini-nuke, complete with “audible bomb sound.” The collection will be available in limited quantities and is retailing for $49.99 in the US and £39.99 in the UK. I’m a little bummed that it won’t be coming to any other platforms other than the PC given that all of these games are available on Steam dirt-cheap, but still… that mini-nuke.

For those who can’t wait until Fallout 4 to journey back into the Wasteland, this looks like a good collection to tide you over until the sequel arrives. However, for the rest of us who already own the games on Steam, we’ll just have to sit here and question whether a miniature nuclear bomb is really worth us handing over $50.
