Fallout 4: Access the Secret Area That Contains All of the Game’s Weapons and Armor

As with all Bethesda games, Fallout 4 is packed with secrets for players to uncover in its sprawling open-world environment. But while you may have already heard of its UFO crash site, its secret boss fights and other such Easter Eggs, there’s one hidden area that even the game’s developer likely didn’t want you to access.

The secret dev test area accessible in Fallout 4 presumably isn’t an Easter Egg left in the game for players to gleefully uncover themselves, given that you can’t find it by travelling to a certain location on the map. Instead you have to enter “coc qasmoke” (minus the quotation marks) in console on the PC version, which will then transport you to the hidden area you can see in the video below:

While it’s a certainly a cool find, it’s advisable that players do not access this area before they’ve completed the game, given that it contains all of the weapons, armor items, consumables, books and holotapes that you can find in the game, along with all of the available Power Armor.

You can choose not to take any of these items along with you after re-entering the actual game world of Fallout 4, meaning that you could theoretically be a low-level character suited up with the very best equipment that the game has to offer. Sure, it’s not the way that the game is supposed to be played, but for those looking at embarking upon a second playthrough of the game it’ll make things a lot more interesting.
