Stephen Colbert Spoofs Johnny Depp And Amber Heard’s Dog Trial Apology

Stephen Colbert has run a hilarious spoof on The Late Show – mocking Johnny Depp and Amber Heard after they were recently forced to publicly apologize to Australia via a video.

Depp and Heard recorded the video as part of a plea deal to avoid jail time after Heard was caught smuggling Depp’s dogs into the country

Colbert stated that he was so touched by Depp and Heard’s video apology, that he was inspired to do his own apology-clip. In it, he and his ‘wife’ apologise for not declaring their own dogs, nor did they declare their “colony of parakeets… nor my two 500-pound feral hogs, Niles and Frasier.”

Then Colbert casually whipped out a didgeridoo and proceeded to play his own version of the Australian National Anthem.

Heard was initially charged with two counts of illegally importing animals into Australia last July, as well falsifying documents.  Just days ago, the case against Heard wrapped up, and she was given a $1000 good behaviour bond with no conviction recorded.
