The plan to ruin the currency of the American colonies may have been disrupted, but the Culper ring still has a big problem on Turn: Washington’s Spies. And that problem has a name: Major Robert Rogers.
Last week, Rogers took Abe and Mary Woodhull hostage to discover the warning that Abe relayed to Washington about the British currency plot. And while Abe and Mary eventually turned the tables on Rogers, he managed to get free again. He may not be in with the British, but Rogers could still prove very deadly to Abe and his friends.
CraveOnline’s exclusive clip for tonight’s episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies finds Rogers bursting on the Culper ring and taking Anna hostage. Unfortunately for Abe, he has to be the voice of reason and keep Caleb from killing Rogers both to protect Anna and to save their own lives. The Rangers are coming, and it wouldn’t do anyone any favors to be caught together in this situation. But is Rogers too far gone to cooperate? Let’s just say that things aren’t looking so good at the moment.
AMC has also released the description of the next episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies:
“Washington attends Benedict Arnold’s ball in Philadelphia. Abe races to stop Rogers before he reaches Townsend. Old friends and enemies intersect.”
The new episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies debuts Monday, May 30 at 10pm PST and EST on AMC.
