It appears the prophecy that 2016 would throw everything it can at us before releasing us from its claws is coming true. Today, comedic force majeure (the good kind) Amy Schumer has cited a force majeure (bad kind), announcing she will be unable to fulfil her previously announced Australian and New Zealand headline tour dates, due to illness.
The dates, which would have kicked off this coming Friday, 10th December, were the largest run of dates from the Inside Amy Schumer star since her Aussie debut less than a year ago.
That would suggest there’s going to be more than a few people absolutely crushed by the cancellation, but Schumer is said to be planning a new run of dates down under as soon as her schedule allows. Until then, ticket-holders are being advised to return to their point of sale for a refund.
