Where I’m from, a mother with a sense of humor is almost as rare as jumping on Facebook these days and seeing a positive post.
But according to ABC News, a college freshman’s mother with a top notch sense of humor decided to mix it up recently by sending her son a box of trash that he forgot to take out along with the care package he’s accustomed to receiving.
“I got two boxes and I opened one and it had food in it and I realized there wasn’t food in the other one,” 18-year-old Connor Cox said. “It was a bunch of trash, tissues [and] soda cans.”
Cox, a freshman at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, laughed his ass off and then posted a picture of the box of trash on Twitter, and it has since gone almost as viral as syphilis aboard a pirate shit in the 1650s.

“She has a good sense of humor,” Cox said about his mother Terri. “She’s always really caring and she knows what to say at the exact time she should say it. She’s a good mom. It’s not a normal mom-son relationship. She’s kind of like my best friend. It’s special for sure.”
Thankfully, Connor doesn’t toss his condoms in the same receptacle as his Coke cans. Otherwise, this story wouldn’t be as cute.
