It’s 2017 and some people are still offended by seeing a woman breastfeed her baby, something that has been happening since the dawn of time. And breastfeeding moms are being told to cover up left and right — and sometimes a woman has to completely shutdown idiots who tell them to cover up their goods. But the woman in this story decided to take a more hilarious approach after being asked to cover herself up while breastfeeding.
A London mom known as Vaguechera on Twitter was enjoying a day at the Victoria & Albert Museum when she began to breastfeed her son. The mom was then asked by museum staff to “cover up.” Which is pretty baffling since the mom was in a museum filled with naked statues.
Take a look at the tweet below.
Flashed a nanosecond of nipple while #breastfeeding and was asked to cover up in @V_and_A courtyard. Am perplexed…. pic.twitter.com/T6VIRQbgrC

And the mom wasn’t done there as she spent the rest of the day trolling the museum and pointing out the various naked statues. Check out the hilarious tweets below.
‘Excuse me madam, would you mind covering your breasts with this mask while you feed?’ pic.twitter.com/yvRrcpbc3c

‘I will throw you out of this museum with your naked breasts!’ ‘But I’m made of marble!’ ‘Oh sorry you’re fine then’ @V_and_A pic.twitter.com/HL0py3vJ7I

On the upside, I had a lovely day at @v_and_a exploring depictions of breasts thru the ages and making lovely mammaries. I mean memories. pic.twitter.com/mMiL27WQZ8

After her tweets blew up, the museum’s director himself, Tristram Hunt issued a direct apology.
.@vaguechera V sorry. Our policy is clear: women may breastfeed wherever they like, wherever they feel comfortable & shld not be disturbed.

Oh, the museum also apologized:
We’re sorry to hear this. Women are welcome to breastfeed in the museum, and we also have quiet spaces for those who would prefer privacy.

Looks like boobs won. Thankfully.
