Should have just stolen a tip jar and avoided all of this mess.
A 32-year-old California man named Jesse Berube, probably has everyone laughing at him after it was discovered that he got stuck inside of a chimney while attempting to break into a business. According to police, Berube tried to skinny his way down the chimney only to get stuck. Fortunately for him, Berube was able to reach his phone and call for help.
And this is what police and firefighters walked into:

The Sacramento Metro Fire Department had to use “specialized equipment” in order to get this idiot free. And once he was free, the uninjured Berube was arrested on a burglary charge. Now look at this brilliant mugshot:

“Criminal Santa does not have the same skills as the real deal,” the police department was quoted as saying.
No word yet if Berube will continue his criminal career, but chances are next time he will just use a window or the front door.
