Even in old age, some people can’t shake off their crime aspirations.
According to NBC News, police in Toronto are frantically looking for an old woman who is suspected of stealing a pricey rock from the Gardiner Museum. Why is that rock worth CAD $17,500 (USD $13,700)? Because Yoko Ono herself wrote an inscription in the rock that reads “love yourself.”
“People can actually go up and interact with it, pick up the rock, say a prayer, meditate, that sort of thing, and then put the rock back. I guess this is something that Yoko Ono believes in, the interactive part of it. So, it’s an unusual circumstance.”
The most bizarre aspect of this, aside from the fact that a rock costs so much, is that the thief is about 60-years-old, about 5ft 4in and is dressed like an older version of Mary Poppins.

I’m gonna go outside and find a rock like that and write that on the side of it with a sharpie and go collect my reward money

One second she’s just a lady grabbing a rock, the next second she’s an international art thief on the run from the law and Yoko Ono
