If there’s one room in your house where privacy is paramount, it’s the bathroom. It’s where you do your business, wash your dirty bits, hang around in the buff, and engage in other activities that you would never want another soul, even your spouse, to witness. But one mom in Knoxville, Tennessee, recently discovered that she was inadvertently putting on a show for the whole neighborhood – and the story has gone viral on TikTok.
Her name is Jill Santom, and she has a frosted window in her bathroom…which she mistakenly thought provided more coverage than it actually does. Though she, her husband, and their two kids have lived in the home for a couple of years, it was only on a not-too-long-ago trip to the mailbox that she looked up at her bathroom window and noticed it was brighter lit than she realized. She recruited her husband to stand in the shower and pretend to scrub-a-dub-dub while she watched from outside – and her worst fears were confirmed.

She posted the video of her hubby’s antics to her TikTok account, which at the time only had around 30 followers. But somehow, the clip blew up, quickly accumulating over 2.5 million likes.
“Everyone was like paranoid for their own home,” she told Today of the unexpected notoriety. “So I guess the moral of the story is if you thought you’re private in your bathroom with your privacy glass or frosted glass, think again!”
Hey, some of us aren’t complaining about the free peep show. But if you were one of Santom’s lucky neighbors, we have bad news for you: she plans to replace the window.
