Vaping Linked to Erectile Dysfunction in Most Bent-Out-of-Shape Plot Twist of the Year

There’s a reason people historically smoked after having sex. But we all thought vaping was different. We told ourselves it was harmless. Healthy even. Now a new study from the American Journal of Preventative Medicine is shattering our rock-hard illusions.

As it turns out, vaping is terrible for your heart. The injection of misted nicotine instantly raises your blood pressure and heart rate, leading to (ironically) stiff artery walls. What’s worse, the study of 46,000 healthy men between the ages of 20-65 proves vapers are twice as likely to experience erectile dysfunction than non-vapers. And just when we thought our boners were safe.

Vaping has had a wild and crazy ride since it first arrived on the scene in earnest in 2010. Since then there have been exploding vape pens, the rise of lonely men with a new crutch, and the appearance of mysterious vape clouds suddenly erupting indoors like no one would notice.

With the ease of access to ED pills, our guess is vaping dudes who actually get laid will simply supplement their nicotine habit with a boner pill habit. Of course, this will inevitably lead to a rise in tragic strokes among stiff young men who smell faintly of cherry. Strange times, these.

Consider this: Next time your girlfriend gets annoyed at you for vaping between sips of Red Bull, read between the lines and get your kicks like a natural stud. By holding your breath and spinning in circles until you almost pass out.
