Nurse With Life-Threatening Covid Saved By Large Dose of Viagra, The Very Last Thing We Need the MAGA Crowd to Find Out

Covid treatments continue to evolve, which is great news if you’re one of the 56 million-plus Americans who’ve been afflicted by the deadly virus. But one remedy we might not want to advertise too loudly…because it involves Viagra.

Yes, that little blue erection pill is credited with saving a woman from a life-threatening case of coronavirus in the UK. Her name is Monica Almeida, and she’s a 37-year-old, fully vaccinated nurse with asthma who tested positive for Covid on Halloween. A couple of weeks later, her condition worsened to the point where she was put in a medically-induced coma, which lasted almost a month. Three days before doctors planned to turn off her ventilator, she was administered a “large dose of Viagra” that worked like a miracle drug. The treatment was experimental, and something that Almeida signed off on before she went unconscious.

“It was definitely the Viagra that saved me. Within 48 hours it opened up my airwaves and my lungs started to respond,” Almeida told the Sun. “If you think how the drug works, it expands your blood vessels. I have asthma and my air sacs needed a little help.”

She was discharged from the hospital on Christmas Eve and will spend the next several months recuperating at home.

While Almeida’s story is certainly inspiring, it’s also a little scary – if the alt-right gets ahold of this information, won’t it just stoke their anti-vaxxing stance? We’d all love to wake up from a coma with a massive hard-on, after all. Until the vaccination rate increases, let’s keep this treatment option under wraps – and in our pants.
