Mandatory Tweets: The Funniest Twitter Reactions to the Adam Levine Affair Accusation by an Instagram Model

If you love to hate Adam Levine, this has been your week. The Maroon 5 frontman came under scrutiny on Monday after a 23-year-old Instagram model named Sumner Stroh alleged via TikTok that the 43-year-old musician “manipulated” her into having an affair…and asked if he could name his next baby after her. That bombshell dropped only a few days after Levine’s wife Behati Prinsloo announced that she’s expecting her third child with the aging rocker via an Instagram pic of her bump. (Way to steal the spotlight, Sumner.)

The internet ran wild with the affair accusation. Within a day, Levine posted a mea culpa (in which he admitted to flirting but not to an affair) in an Instagram Story (keep it classy, dude).

“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” he wrote. “In instances, it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”

“My wife and my family is [sic] all I care about in this world,” he continued. “To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make.”

Say sorry all you want, Adam. (Actually, he didn’t say sorry, did he?) Regardless, Twitter has no mercy for Levine’s kind (which, if social media is to be believed, is all men).

While we feel for Prinsloo and wish her much strength during this embarrassing and painful ordeal, we have to laugh amongst ourselves, because this behavior is so beyond douchey.

To that end, we have rounded up the funniest Twitter reactions to the Adam Levine affair accusation drama. Scroll, enjoy, and thank your lucky stars you’re not involved.
