Fox Announces Fall 2012 Season Premiere Dates

As Fox gets ready to kick off its Fall 2012 season, audiences should expect to see a lot of sitcoms and an overload of “The X-Factor.”

Fox has officially unveiled its lineup for the fall; which which will kickoff with a two night premiere of “The X-Factor” on Wednesday, September 12 and Thursday, September 13. Fans of drama will have to wait until Monday, September 17 for the return of “Bones” at 8pm, followed by “The Mob Doctor;” which has the distinction of being the only drama slated to premiere on Fox this fall.

The cult favorite series, “Fringe” will return on Friday, September 28 to begin its shortened fifth and final season; which may wrap up its run before the end of 2012. On Friday, October 26, “Fringe” will be joined by the second season of “Touch.”

Comedy appears to be Fox’s top priority of the fall, with Tuesdays now comprised of a two hour block of sitcoms in which “New Girl” and “Raising Hope” will be paired with “The Mindy Project” and “Ben and Kate.” The Animation Domination Sunday night lineup will return on September 30, with “The Cleveland Show” moving into the 7:30pm slot on Sunday, October 7.
