It’s an all-Canadian line-up for the 2013 Grey Cup this year – not only will Hedley perform at the halftime show but The Sheepdogs will put on a performance prior to the match-up and songstress Serena Ryder will sing the national anthem.
Hedley’s fifth studio album, Wild Life, will come out November 11th, the band announced last month. Their first single from the album, “Anything,” came out on August 27th on iTunes and to radio stations. They’ve accumulated four Much Music Video Awards along with two Junos. Lead singer Jacob Hoggard was the third runner up in “Canadian Idol” and formed the band Hedley along with Kevin Giesbrecht, Kevin Heeres, Ryan Federau, and Brandon McKay. The band members are also ambassadors for the charity Free The Children.
The Grey Cup will be held on November 24th in Regina at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field.
