Comedian Russell Peters will have a new special on Netflix, which is the first non-fiction non-scripted series for the streaming site.
Netflix followed Peters on his worldwide Notorious tour this year while he stopped in cities like Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Atlantic City, Sydney, Glasgow, and London, and will broadcast it in a four-part special beginning October 14th. According to an article on The Verge, a limited screening will also be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival next week.
Peters, who was born and raised in Toronto, has appeared in dozens of television specials as well as movies, and has won one Gemini Award. He is one of the highest-earning comedians in Canada as well as North America.
