Crave’s CinemaBlend website Monday reported big shakeups from the realm of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation.
Apparently star Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the film over the weekend. The explanation given by the studio is that Hunnam was too busy with his responsibilities on his hit FX show “Sons of Anarchy” to properly prepare for the sexy best-seller and its subsequent sequels. This happened one day after Patrick Marber was hired to rewrite the script. Now comes word the studio may turn to Alexander Skarsgard for the lead role.
All this and Fifty Shades of Grey is scheduled to come out August 1, 2014.
