Australian Open of Surfing 2014: Skateboarding On The Beach Highlights Reel

The Australian Open of Surfing is obviously mostly about surfing.  I mean, it's in the name of the event.  But, it wouldn't be complete without a group of skateboarders shredding in a custom-made pool complete with a slide, ladder and diving board for the best-trick contest.  The rain and inclement weather tried to hold these guys back, but they sucked it up and powered through to give us some pretty sick highlights from the weekend.

Enjoy the best of the best from 10-year-old Keegan Palmer to veteran pro Bob Burnquist as they tear it up down under.

We were in Sydney for the whole week so be sure to check out all of CraveOnline's coverage from the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing in Manly Beach.

Special thanks to Destination New South Wales for bringing CraveOnline to the Australian Open of Surfing at Manly Beach in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
