Comic-Con 2014: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – Brett Dalton and Chloe Bennet Interview

CraveOnline spoke with Brett and Chloe about their roles in the upcoming season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. They both discuss the decision-making of their characters and how they got to where they are in the series and what’s ahead in the near future.

Brett Dalton is a Southern California native, and is most well known for his role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Blue Bloods, Army Wives, Nat Geo’s Killing Lincoln. He also has had some theatre experience, ranging from Shakespearean material to more contemporary plays. Chloe Bennet is an Chicagoan and Asian-American who initially wished to pursue a singing career, and did end up releasing a single in Beijing, China. She then moved back to the USA/Southern California where she began her acting career, most notably with Nickelodeon in the Teen Nick series called The Nightlife.

After the Battle of New York, the world has changed. It now knows not only about the Avengers, but also the powerful menaces that require those superheroes and more to face them. In response, Phil Coulson of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division assembles an elite covert team to find and deal with these threats wherever they are found. With a world rapidly becoming more bizarre and dangerous than ever before as the supervillains arise, these agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are ready to take them on.
