One would think, that as a wealthy NBA player, you’d make sure to remind your family to lock your doors when heading to bed at night. A man of considerable wealth might have some nice, expensive things inside and would probably wish to protect them (and especially his family).
Seems something went amiss, or somebody rushed off to bed, because when a small crowd of overly curious (and likely mischievous) teenagers walked up to the house (they were attending a party next door) and saw that the door was unlocked, they proceeded to waltz right in, supposedly to “see how a professional basketball player lives.”
They came, they saw…and were arrested. Allen’s wife and kids were sleeping upstairs; she saw them and alerted authorities. They were later released, but will face trespassing charges.
