Since the beginning of DC Comics’ The New 52, writer Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s run on Batman has been a critical and commercial hit as the duo redefined the Dark Knight for a new generation of comic book readers.
On the first day of New York Comic Con, CraveOnline’s Iann Robinson had the chance to sit down with Snyder and Capullo for an extended interview in which they look back at the recently concluded Batman: Zero Year storyline that explored new ground in Batman’s origin as Snyder admits to feeling the pressure of dealing with the Batman legend.
Snyder and Capullo also tell us about Batman: Endgame, the new storyline that brings their modern take on The Joker back to Gotham City to burn it down. As Capullo says, “this is the summer blockbuster” of their Batman run.
