Ever since the NFL’s LA exodus of 1994 (Rams and Raiders), it’s likely that many American football fans have been wondering if or when a team might return to the warm and dry Los Angeles Basin.
During a recent radio interview session on KNX-AM, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti said that the recent sale of the Clippers for two billion dollars hopefully revealed the value of a Los Angeles franchise, potentially sparking interest from the NFL again.
We’re only left with one tidbit of information from the fall NFL exec meetings. New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch revealed it to be that potential new locations were being discussed, one of them being in the Carson area which is located just south of LA County proper.
