“Get out of here!” – Scorpion – Mortal Kombat X Chapter # 1
This April, NetherRealm Studios is unleashing Mortal Kombat X, the tenth game in the long running series that will shift the action and the fatalities 25 years into the future with a new group of fighters and some returning favorites.
Earlier this week, DC Comics released the first chapter of the Mortal Kombat X digital first comic series, which serves as a prequel to the Mortal Kombat X game. Readers were introduced to Takeda, the previously unknown son of Kenshi. Daegon and The Red Dragon clan attempted to murder both Kenshi and his son, but they were saved by the timely intervention of Scorpion. Along the way, Scorpion slightly updates his beloved catchphrase.
In our exclusive preview from Mortal Kombat X Chapter # 2, Takeda begins his tutelage in the Shirai Ryu Temple under Scorpion’s guidance. Takeda even gets his first taste of Mortal Kombat against a fellow student named Fox… and it’s a pretty one-sided battle.
