The final day of Toronto Men’s Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2015 brought TOM* to a close with all the style one would expect – menswear designers Wild North Apparel, Patrick Salonga, Diodati by Luca Galardo, Pedram Karimi, and Christopher Bates delivered a fitting end to the season.
Wild North Apparel showcased classic outerwear with beautiful winter coats that mixed luxury, fur, and fabric. Standout piece: A sheared black fur coat.
Patrick Salonga presented a heavily camo-inspired collection with an olive and putty color palette. Super comfy soft fabrics used in tunics and leggings gave the piece a relaxing look and feel. Standout pieces” Masks and harnesses as well as custom-made backpacks.
Diodati by Luca Galardo presented a diverse collection of metallic sapphire, vinyl, and neoprene club street wear for the fall season. Galardo’s tunics, elongated silhouettes and raw edging made for a modern yet post-apocalyptic setting.
Pedram Karimi utilized a black color palette, white corral, soft pink and nude. Karimi created a modern civilization of structured silhouettes, capes of cotton and vinyl are paired with fantastic custom-made rabbit fur hats. Standout pieces: Zip coats that double as a cape.
Christopher Bates brought a poignant end to Toronto Men’s Fashion Week runway shows for the Fall/Winter 2015 season. Presenting his collection to a packed house, Bates’ collection drew rave reviews from patrons. Balancing both light and dark color palette, Bates elevated the elegant male look with comfort. Standout pieces: A red leather zip-up jacket.
The evening ended with celebration as fashion goers partied into the night on the runway at the Tom Wraps Party.
Today and tomorrow 13 designers will conduct trunk shows at Trump Residences Toronto. Fashion buyers from around the globe can attend the market for the opportunity to meet with the designers to see and the feel the collections up close.
