Imagine you’re a little kid, alone in the countryside, proving your worth to your father by bringing back the biggest game you can find. Now, imagine Air Force One crashes in the woods right next to you, and President Samuel L. Jackson steps out and says you’re the only one who can help him fight off a team of high-tech terrorists.
That’s the set-up for Big Game, the badass new action thriller from director Jalmari Helander (Rare Exports), and we here at Crave are so freakin’ excited that you finally get to watch it. We saw Big Game at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, where we called it “a fist-pumping old-meets-new school thrill ride that makes you feel like a PG-13-year-old again.” And we meant it. Just take a look at this impressively over the top hero scene, exclusively at CraveOnline, to see just how dramatically big this Big Game gets.
Big Game is now playing in select theaters, and on Digital HD and VOD.

In the rugged countryside of Finland, a young thirteen-year-old (Onni Tommila) embarks on a traditional quest to prove himself by spending 24 hours alone in the wild, armed with only a bow and arrow. After witnessing a spectacular crash, he discovers the escape pod from Air Force One, containing the President of the United States (Samuel L. Jackson). When they realize a group of kidnappers is hot on their trail with the intention of taking the president, this unlikely duo must escape their hunters as they search for the American Special Forces team sent out to find them.
