Supanova 2015 Adelaide & Brisbane Guests Announced

With the Sydney and Perth legs of the 2015 Supanova Pop Culture Expo now behind us, it’s all eyes on Adelaide and Brisbane as the cities’ Supanova guests have now been unveiled.

When Supanova makes its way to Adelaide and Brisbane in November, punters will be able to catch Barbara Eden, who played the iconic genie in the ’60s series I Dream Of Jeannie. Another ’60s star named Barbara — Barbara Feldon — will also share her experiences of playing Agent 99 in Get Smart.

Elsewhere, Napoleon Dynamite‘s Jon Heder will also be a guest, after his forthcoming film Walt Before Mickey drops in August.

Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor in the Superman concept series Smallville will also be in attendance, as will Stargate SG-1‘s Christopher Judge and David Yost and Karan Ashley — the blue and yellow Power Rangers.

Filling out today’s announcement are Bob Layton, the artist and writer who reinvented the Iron Man comic; Dave Gibbons, who created Watchmen and Secret Service; and illustrator Joe Jusko, one of the world’s best-known fantasy, pin-up and comic artists.

This newly-announced group join previously announced guest Sarah J. Mass, the author of the Throne Of Glass series, who will also appear in Adelaide and Brisbane. More guests are set to be announced over the coming months.

You can catch up on what went down at the Sydney leg of Supanova 2015 with CraveOnline Australia‘s Supanova Sydney wrap-up video, (below) which is full of elaborate cosplay and gender-bending.

The Adelaide leg of Supanova 2015 kicks off on 20th November, while the Brisbane leg begins on 27th November. For more details, visit the Supanova website.
