Best Foot Forward | Adidas EQT Was Made For Running

Adidas has just reached into their very stylish historical repertoire and brought back out an old favorite that has received some major upgrades. Made popular nearly 20 years ago, the EQT was made for running. But if this new iteration got to talk to the old one, it may just say, ‘Stay in the box buddy.’

A lot has happened in sneaker technology over the past two decades, and Adidas rolled out the best of the best when remaking these shoes. That means Primeknit upper fabric integrated on select versions, which is known for it’s light weight and breathability, as well as the trademarked Torsion System for midfoot integrity, and compression molded EVA midsoles, amongst a slew of other fancy techniques and trades deployed.

One of the first in this line up to be released was the 93/17, and not so surprisingly, it sold out immediately. Thankfully, we have some alternatives, like the EQT Support RF, $100 & EQT Support ADV Primeknit, $140.

What we really enjoy about this release from Adidas is the streamlined color story. The EQT silhouettes come in the demure vintage white and core black, but if you want a little pop, get it with black & white iterations, with hot pink detailing, or for the adventuresome, the EQT Support RF, in ‘multi’, which visually reads as all over hot pink.
