While I understand that people are on high-alert after the awful terrorist attack in New York City this week, it seems like some people are using that tragedy to once again wave their racist flags. And no one has made that more obvious than right-wing activist and garbage pail, Laura Loomer.
Loomer, who calls herself an “investigative journalist” on Twitter, has just been banned by Uber and Lyft after posting some pretty damn racist tweets. It all kicked off when this idiot tweeted this:
I’m late to the NYPD press conference because I couldn’t find a non Muslim cab or @Uber @lyft driver for over 30 min! This is insanity.

And then this:
Someone needs to create a non Islamic form of @uber or @lyft because I never want to support another Islamic immigrant driver.

And then she tweeted this trash:
Nearly every cab @uber @lyft driver in NYC is Muslim. It’s extremely unfortunate and this is a conversation we need to have for our safety.

And it wasn’t long before Uber told Business Insider that Loomer had been banned for violating community guidelines. And Lyft also revealed they had also deactivated Loomer’s account.
And Twitter decided to jump in as well and bash Loomer for being a complete trash bag.
